As a former Product Manager in the telecommunications industry, I often found it difficult to get insights from our customers about their challenges and needs — there were always too many layers of teams standing between us and the end customer.

When we started building MyRaces.Live, 3 years ago, it was the complete opposite. As racing drivers ourselves, we already had a tight connection with the racing community, and it was so incredibly easy and exciting to validate our ideas with the people we were building this for — the teams, drivers, and racing organizers.
This helped us shape the product to adapt to that specific community and how they operate. This whole adventure started as a passion project and we could not be more proud to be where we are now.

Since I started racing, I’ve been trying to build a reliable live streaming setup for our team's car. I quickly grew frustrated with off-the-shelf products that claimed to support live streaming, but would overheat after 30 minutes or fail to reconnect.

So, I took matters into my own hands and started building a solution myself, deep-diving into the technical aspects of live streaming as well as live video overlays so family and friends watching from home could easily follow along. It was clear there was a major gap in the market, and as a tech-savvy person, I wanted to give it a proper shot—and Claire was the perfect partner to do this with!

Together, we started MyRaces.Live as a free platform that anyone, using any equipment, could use. A couple of years later, the platform now offers rich multistreaming features, integrates with a variety of live timing systems, and delivers advanced capabilities for both amateur and professional teams.
